Kitchen Table Advisors fuels the economic viability of sustainable small farms and ranches through practical business advising and trusted relationships.

Where the need is

The small-scale farmers and ranchers who nourish us and the land struggle to make a living and maintain viable businesses in a food system that was not designed to uplift them.

How we help

KTA works at both the individual and institutional levels through two programs: our 1:1, bilingual Business Advising program offers personalized support to producers while our Ecosystem Building program incubates collaborative projects that create more equitable access to land, capital, and markets.

Who we work with

We work with farmers and ranchers across Central and Northern California who are leaders for social and environmental change and whose values are deeply ingrained throughout their daily lives and their businesses.

Join us at Rainwater Ranch!

Join us for a fun-filled tour of KTA client Rainwater Ranch on Sunday, May 18th from 10am-1pm in Winters, CA.

We will walk the land and hear from farm owners Lauren McNees and Lee Millon about how they steward their farm, the importance of secure land tenure, and their values on growing organic produce and flowers. Afterwards, Lauren will lead a bouquet-making demonstration where each guest can make and bring their own bouquet home.
